All jewelry uses either Copper or Sterling sliver ear wires and has no lead. Sterling is 92.5 5 silver and then another metal most likely copper. Copper is just Copper, no additives. Some of the pieces are Silver Plate and will be noted in the information about the piece. I do have some Surgical Steal and Gold Plated ear wires available. Just ask. solid gold ear wires are available at a premium price, that depends on the price of gold at the moment.
